Pre-Purchase

The Pre-Purchase condition and valuation survey is the most comprehensive type of inspection, and is strongly advised when purchasing both a new or used vessel. The vessel's fair market value and the vessels replacement values are determined and included in the Pre-Purchase inspection.

The Insurance condition and valuation survey is usually an insurance company or under writer’s requirement, and is used order to determine if the vessel is an acceptable risk, and assign the vessel's fair market and replacement values.
